Wasan is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, among other honors. The domain of lipoprotein-based medication delivery and lipoprotein-drug interactions has seen Kishor Wasan publish over 240 articles and abstracts. From August 2014 to June 2019, Dr. Wasan was Dean of the University of Saskatchewan's College of Pharmacy and Nutrition. His team at the University of British Columbia developed iCo 019, and Dr. Wasan will initially focus on expanding the product's reach through partnerships and collaborations.

A tenured professor at the University of British Columbia, Kishor Wasan was assistant dean of research until 2014. Dr. Wasan has over 520 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts published in top journals. During his 19 years of independent research at UBC, he has displayed research leadership skills. Did his undergraduate pharmacy degree at UT Austin and his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at UTMC in Houston. Kishor Wasan, Ph.D., is a licensed pharmacist in the state of Texas.

She holds the Canadian Institutes of Health Research/iCo Therapeutics Inc. Research Chair in Drug Delivery for Neglected Global Diseases. His strengths in research and education curriculum development are well-known in postsecondary education.
